About Thunder Ridge

Owner-operated. 28-plus-year veteran. Doubled in 2025.

Thunder Ridge Realty is an Oklahoma brokerage built on a deliberate partnership.

The business side is owned by an Oklahoma operator who wanted to build a brokerage that didn't look or feel like the franchises that dominate the state. The brokerage side is run by Amy McReynolds, a 28-plus-year industry veteran who spent her career as an agent, then a broker, then a team-leading broker. Amy recruits every agent, runs new-agent training, sits in on tough deals, and is in the office most days of the week.

The partnership works because the two sides of running a brokerage — the business and the brokerage — are different jobs. Most operations collapse them into one role and end up doing both badly. Thunder Ridge separates them on purpose. Amy handles the people side: recruiting, training, broker oversight, and the culture on the floor. The business side handles the platform: technology, operations, marketing, and the systems that let agents look credible before a client conversation starts.

The growth speaks for itself. In 2024 we closed 103 transactions for $25M. In 2025 we more than doubled that — 233 transactions, $60M in volume — by picking up the right producers across the state, one at a time. We didn't cut splits to grow. We didn't recruit anyone with a license. We picked people who fit, and we treated them like adults.

Today, Thunder Ridge is 36 agents working out of 3 offices: Tulsa, Edmond/OKC, and Mannford/Sand Springs. Owner-operated. Oklahoma-rooted. Deliberately built to stay that way.

A note from our managing broker

“I spent twenty years at a big brokerage before I came to Thunder Ridge. I saw what the big brokerages got right and, more importantly, what they got wrong. Agents getting treated like seat-fillers. Brokers who weren't reachable. Splits that didn't reward the people producing the volume. So when the chance came to build something different, I took it. The deal we offer agents now is the deal I wish I'd had ten years ago.”
